Matric class of 2025 raises the bar as pass rate goes up to 88% compared to last year's 87.3%. KZN leads as the best-performing province followed by Free State and Gauteng, respectively. Basic Education Minister Siviwe Gwarube released the overall results on Monday. She also highlighted top‑performing learners and provinces at an event in Randburg. Almost 900 000 pupils wrote matric exams late last year. #Newzroom405
