Once upon a time here in Nakivale, many children went to sleep with no mosquito nets — unprotected from malaria, the disease that steals the smiles and lives of so many young ones. Some cried through the night, others fell sick, and mothers watched helplessly because they had nothing to cover their little ones. It was a sad story, a pain that lived in many homes across the refugee settlement.

But today, we thank God — because hope is rising. 🙏
Today was a beautiful day once again with our children. These were the ones who had missed out last time, but by God’s grace and through the love of kind hearts, we made sure that every child received a mosquito net this time. 💚

Before we shared the nets, we played games, sang songs, prayed, and laughed together — bringing joy and light to their hearts. Seeing the smiles on their faces reminded us that every act of kindness changes a life.

I want to take this moment to thank the mother who started this beautiful mission of fighting malaria among children in Nakivale refugee settlement — your love has saved lives. May God bless you abundantly for your good heart. 🙏
