Maestro Hector Oliver performs an improvisation in the style and tradition of the great improvisational organists of Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris. The Improv was recorded using the Cavaille-Coll specification of the new custom Allen Organ - 3M/60. Hector performed the dedication concert at Blessed Virgin Mary Church in Dickson City, PA on May 22, 2016. The church has a glorious 6-7 seconds of natural reverb! We consulted on this installation and performed all the tonal finishing and voicing in conjunction with the regional Allen Organ Dealer, Robert Sides Family Music of Williamsport, PA.
