When Shelley founded Aromaflex back in 1995, it was more than a business — it was a labour of love.
Born out of a passion for Aromatherapy and Reflexology (hence the name), Aromaflex began as a small Nelson shop with a big idea: to make quality essential oils accessible to everyone — not just by the bottle, but by the drop.
That innovation made Aromaflex the first of its kind in New Zealand. Shelley personally hand-blended oils over the counter, helping customers find the perfect formulations for their wellbeing.
Sustainability was part of the business from day one — long before it was a buzzword — with bottle refills and bespoke blends created on site.
