String of Bananas is a versatile, easy-care plant that can be easily grown from cuttings. Follow along in this video where I share my tips and tricks for growing, propagating and maintaining String of Bananas, aka Senecio radicans. This is actually the second in a series about String of Bananas, as I have shared previously how I found this plant as a small, broken stem on the ground of Home Depot and proplifted it - propagating it into the beauty that it is today! This creeping perennial, native to South Africa, can be grown in many climates, thrives in warm climates, but can also be an ideal hanging houseplant when kept in bright indirect light.
Follow along as I give this plant a good trim, cutting it's long, hanging stems, and re-potting and replanting the stems in a discounted hanging pot (from Target's Dollar spot) to create a fuller, chunkier, happier plant.
