The days started very bad! Heavy rain,cold and wind…
We collect our equipment and waiting in the “bar” for further weather improvement.Soon Fabian from Germany join us.He olans to cross Atsunta pass today and go all the way to Girevi village,as he doesn’t have tent or sleeping bag with him.
Weather changes and we started to push bikes again towards Atsunta.
The first kms are relative ok,but the last climb is tragic! Very steep,muddy and cold! Rain puts pressure in us! The climb is crazy!!! Is harder and harder.
Miha reaches the pass first! So much joy!!!
Then me…
Then we started the long descent towards Tusheti Valley…the path is full of mud and dirt and river crossing where we have to get shoes off.
After few kms in the valley,we must stop for the night and we install the tent,prepare a hot tea and soup…and then back in the tent because we gonna experience one of the most strong storm of the trip! Heavy rain and dangerous lighnings around our tent…is getting scary…we fall asleep…
