Description
OpenAI Codex CLI is a lightweight, open-source coding agent that brings advanced AI code assistance directly to your terminal. In this video, I walk you through how to install Codex CLI using Node.js (make sure you're on Node 22 or newer), discuss some common installation issues—especially with Node.js updates—and explain why it currently only supports macOS and Linux.

I’ll also demo using Codex CLI to add a new feature to my app, showing how it can read, edit, and run code locally with your OpenAI API key, all while keeping your code secure on your machine.
