Check out this connector machined on the Citizen L12 at the 2014 IMTS show! Speed. This machine is fast. The 7 axis, 12mm capacity L12 has 15,000 RPM main spindle speed, and 10,000 RPM sub-spindle and live tool speed. As part of Citizen's L-series, this machine was designed with a modular concept with many tooling options available to fit your application. The L12 is also easily convertible between guide bushing and non-guide bushing mode.
This featured connector application uses our GSE-3607 live tool block with 3 front/3 back end face live spindles where the angle is adjustable between 0 and 30 deg. It also utilizes a vacuum part extraction system engineered by Marubeni Citizen's automation group.
