What a start to 2026! Today, January 5th 2026, the aviation community in Piešťany (PZY) was treated to the incredible sight and sound of the Antonov An-74TK-100 (UR-UZP) once again.
After its historic return to the skies on December 20th following a long hiatus since 2023, many wondered when we would see this "Coanda Effect" legend again. The wait wasn't long! Seeing it touch down again today confirms that this unique STOL (Short Take-Off and Landing) aircraft is officially back in active service.
