Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake - A Knight to Remember

We've played a couple of these games on here before, and this happens to remake of the first of those. Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake released last week, and I've been having a great time with it. While this first one does introduce some crazy difficulty spikes, it still has the spirit of the original but also goes off in its own direction by adding scrolls you can use to gain skills, and there are a lot of them to find.

Put this remake in the same class as Mega Man Powered Up, Metroid: Zero Mission, and Star Ocean: The Second Story R for me as really cool. Has me very excited to get around to playing II since I've been hearing great things about it. In any case, I just wanted to show off some footage from the game. The Metal Slime grind is in the same location but kind of different now. And Erdrick's Armor is still in the same place it should be, but the fight? Oh man... Yeah, Cop Out is a lifesaver except with that 1/8th of a chance to fail completely.

We're playing on normal difficulty. Others can do their Level 28 or lower Draconian Quest (hard) fight. I'll gladly accept my Level 30 Dragon Quest (normal) mode win instead. Ha-ha.
