Kfar qatra (كفر قطره) is located in Chouf District
Kafr qatra rises 760 m above sea level
The origin of the names of the town and its farms goes back to Syriac and Aramaic:
Kfarqetra, which means the village of slaughter or sacrifice
Kfar Hmala, which means the village of grain stores
Dawr Bet Sanya
In these areas, archaeological remains dating back to ancient Semitic times were found.
On the path there are pine trees - the atmosphere is calm - down to the wonderful rock for visualization and contemplation

كفر قطرة موجودة في قضاء الشوف
تعلو كفرقطرة 760م عن مستوى سطح البحر وتمتد على مساحة 208 هكتار أي 2,08 كم2
يضاف إليها مزرعة دوير بصنيه التي تمتد على مساحة قدرها 153هكتار أي 1,53 كم2
ويضاف على هذا مزرعة كفرحمل الممتدة على مساحة 150هكتار أي ما يعادل1,5 كم2
ليصل مجموع أراضيها إلى 511 هكتار أي 5,11 كم2
وبهذا فهي تشكل 0.49٪؜ من مساحة لبنان
يعود اصل أسماء البلدة ومزارعها إلى السريانية والارامية
كفرقطرة ومعناها قرية الذبح أو الذبيحة

ولقد وجد في هذه الأنحاء بقايا اثرية تعود إلى ازمنة سامية قديمة

على الجبل العالي مريجات
على الطريق توجد أشجار الصنوبر - الجو هادئ - وصولاً إلى الصخور الرائعة للتخيل والتأمل
