3620, owned by Ian Welch and operated by the Bellarine Railway / The Q Train, is an ex South African Railways 24 Class, of the Berkshire wheel arrangement. Seen here doing a photo stop at Suma Park Estate, as scheduled for each steam hauled journey on The Q Train.
The Bellarine Railway is a volunteer run, 3ft 6in gauge railway located on the Bellarine Peninsula, between Drysdale and Queenscliff, near Geelong, Victoria. Home to popular events like Thomas Weekends, and the Polar Express. The railway also features a steam-led heritage service every Sunday, as well as additional special services during holiday periods.
The Q Train is a unique rail journey, and award-winning restaurant service, that travels along the Bellarine Railway.
