QUESTION 1 - TELL ME ABOUT YOURSELF: 01:04
TIP #1 – This will be the first university interview question you must answer, so make sure you prepare a positive, and confident response to it.

First impressions are very important for building a good rapport with the interviewers.

TIP #2 – Talk about the strengths you have, what you do outside of education, and how you have a plan in place for achieving your career goals whilst at university.

TIP #1 – This next interview question is assessing your MOTIVATIONS for wanting to study at their university.

It is really important that you study at their university prior to your interview.

TIP #2 – Look at their ABOUT US page on their website, and take note of their culture, values, events, how they support their students, and their latest news stories.

QUESTION 3 - WHY DO YOU WANT TO STUDY THIS COURSE? 04:24
TIP #1 – This is another common university interview question that I strongly recommend you prepare for.
It is vital you show passion and enthusiasm for your subject and more importantly, your chosen subject is aligned with your career goals.

TIP #2 – I recommend reading the course curriculum and then picking several things from it that you find engaging, that you are passionate about, and that you can reference in your answer.

QUESTION 4 - WHAT ARE YOUR MAIN INTERESTS? 05:57
TIP #1 – This is another common university interview question that is assessing your personality and how you use your time when not in education.
If you can show that you have a passion for something outside of your education, and you are constantly learning and developing, it will impress the interviewer.

TIP #2 – Good things to talk about in your answer include team sports, keeping fit and active, reading, and even playing a musical instrument.

QUESTION 5 - WHAT ARE YOUR STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES? 07:19
TIP #1 – The strengths part of this interview question is relatively easy to answer.
Write down a list of 4 to 5 strengths you have and talk about how these will help you to succeed at university.

TIP #2 – For your weakness, choose one that will do you no harm during the interview. Do not say your weakness is the fact you are a perfectionist! That is not a good weakness to give.
