CM Yogi on Gyanvapi: There are deity statues inside; if we call it a mosque...

Amid the ongoing Gyanvapi dispute between the Hindu and Muslim sides, Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath stated in an interview with news agency ANI on Monday that the government is actively working towards finding a solution to the problem. Yogi Adityanath asserted, "Inside Gyanvapi, there are deity statues, and Hindus did not place them there. If we call it a mosque, there will be a dispute. The government aims to resolve the Gyanvapi issue." The UP CM further pointed out that the Muslim side had made a "historical mistake" and urged them to come forward for its resolution. Additionally, he raised a question, asking, "If Gyanvapi is a mosque, then what was a trident doing there?"
