Jackson Middle School Spark of Class is a competitive show choir made up of 7th and 8th-grade students. Our year consists of community performances, school concerts and performances, and competitions in and around Columbus, Ohio. In the past, we have performed for Clippers baseball games, the Harlem Globetrotters, and the Ohio Board of Education Convention.
This year’s competition show theme is a haunted escape room. Think about when you were young. All anyone ever wants to do is grow up so you can make your own decisions. Middle school is a particularly pivotal time for many. It’s a time of fear, excitement, challenges, “firsts,” growth, and discovery. Once we escape youth, we are faced with yet another escape room of adulthood. Will you escape?
