Back in February, we put 6,000 miles on two supposedly very unreliable cars, only to learn—in the middle of New Mexico—that our destination event was postponed for weather reasons. Now, the Tempting Fate Tours team finally gets to head for the rebooted Radwood Austin.
Tom found barn dust and cat prints all over everything. John flew in a day later. We made another stop at our home away from home, AutoZone. And, finally, two more-or-less running Sterling 827 SLs headed for Circuit of the Americas. We got some surprising but delightful validation. We groveled desperately for NEW OWNERS. You'll never believe what happened next !!
At the very end, there's a little teaser for the next TFT adventure, which is coming up ... oh, good lord, the flight is WHEN?
