Namaste Dosto, my name is Abhishek Solanki AKA Gregarious Yatri. Today I welcome you all in the most beautiful city Mangaluru (Mangalore). We all know that Mangaluru is located in Karnataka State. Mangalore is the capital of Dakshin Kannada district and is also a major port of India.
On my very first day of Mangaluru I visited Mangaladevi Temple which is the most famous and sacred place in Mangaluru. Mangaladevi is the form of goddess Parvati or Shakti and from this name the city derived its name ‘Mangaluru’. The temple is about 1200+ years old which makes it one of the oldest temples in India. Mangalore is also located in the region of Tulunadu, which is the coastal region of Karnataka. Most of the people speak Tulu language in this region.
Temple Timings 🕰️ :- Temple opens at 06:00 AM to 01:00 PM and Closes from 01:00 PM to 04:00 PM and Reopens at 04:00 PM to 08:30 PM
