Leaving Leon, we set on on one of the final legs of our Camino Journey visiting and walking through few more towns with architecture dating back to the 11th century. The later stages brought us more mountain climbing through more cold weather, mist and rain. We actually made the mistake of taking one of the hardest routes on the Camino climbing up over several mountains as we made our way to Ponfarada. The wrong turn gave us so many spectacular views from the top of the mountains. Even though this particular track was exhausting, we both agree that it was probably one of the best hikes along the Camino.
