This video shows some of the issues and strategies involved in working with a colt that has a tendency to be “sticky” or reluctant to move their feet.
Sometimes, a colt that seems “too good to be true” early on can develop challenges later — and it’s important to recognize those signs before they turn into bigger problems.
We take the first three days of Dollar’s halter training and groundwork to show her progression, the adjustments we made along the way, and how small changes helped her find more confidence and try.
