Smokey Joe is finally back on the farm! 🐴 This beautiful blue roan American Quarter Horse, son of our stallion 66, has been out on pasture and now he’s ready to shine. But today isn’t just about showing him off—it’s about tackling one of the most controversial topics in the horse world: When should you start a colt?

For years, we’ve started our colts at 2 (if they’re built and ready). Many horse owners say you should wait until 4–5 years old. This debate has been going on forever, and we know a lot of you have strong opinions. We respect that—so let’s talk about it! Drop your thoughts in the comments below ⬇️
