🏔️ Hiking El Chullo | Sierra Nevada Winter Adventure 🇪🇸

Join us on a winter hike up El Chullo (2,612 m) — the highest peak in Almería, Spain!It’s February, and while there’s only a dusting of snow, the skies are crystal clear, offering sweeping views of Mulhacén and Alcazaba, two of Spain’s biggest mountains.
We kicked things off with a dramatic (and mildly chaotic) moment — when I had a standoff with a bold horse that tried to eat my walking poles and break into our van. Cue hasty van repositioning and a strategic retreat. 🐴💨
Starting from Puerto de la Ragua (2,041 m), we hiked a straightforward path to the summit, breathed in that crisp mountain air, and enjoyed a stunning ridge traverse before dropping onto the GR‑240 Sulayr Trail, completing a beautiful circular route through Sierra Nevada National Park.
