We're taking you on an unforgettable Onam food tour across Kerala! Our journey from Kochi to Aranmula was made perfect by our road trip partner, the Honda Amaze, as we went on a hunt for unique festive flavors.
Our first stop was Muvattupuzha, where we savored a delicious and healthy breakfast: Ada Dosa and Nenthrappazham Ada. Made with a mix of lentils and pulses, this traditional dish is a must-try.
Next, we drove to Aranmula, the land of the famous Onam Sadhya. The highlight of our feast was a unique and flavorful dish, Madantha Ila Thoran. Prepared by Shyamala Chechi using colocasia leaves, Malabar tamarind, and fresh grated coconut, this dish is a true taste of Kerala.
Finally, we stopped in Alappuzha to try the famous Rasa Vada from Namaste Tiffins, a personal favorite street food delicacy.
Throughout our trip, the Honda Amaze proved to be an amazing companion.
