In a visit to Madrid,
My parents and I had the chance to meet up with the students of my course Sketch Like The Pros: Pedro, Antonio, and Amor.

Our evening was filled with inspiring talks about design and sketching. Antonio asked me to show him how to sketch a sneaker in 3D, and we recorded this live tutorial to share with all of you!

Once you have the shoe last correctly drawn, you have already completed about 70% of the job. At this stage, you have the correct proportions and complete freedom to get creative with your sneaker design.

Drawing Analogies
Just like when you draw other objects:
To draw a glove, you start with the shape of a hand.
To draw clothing, you start with a human model.

Similarly, for shoes, you always start with the shoe last.
This method ensures your sneaker will be accurate in perspective and proportion.
