INSANE $20 Jordan 13 Chicago Restoration! From Beat to Heat!

These Jordan 13 Chicagos are heavily worn! I found them for $20 online thinking they would make for a simple restoration, but I was wrong!

I started by giving them a deep cleaning and regluing any separated areas. When I went to repaint them, I noticed the previous owner used whiteout... It was tough to clean it off, but then I proceeded to paint them correctly... using Angelus acrylic leather paint. Then, I tried to repair the suede and dyed it using Angelus suede dye. After, I unyellowed the soles using our Indoor icebox, removing a decade’s worth of oxidation from the rubber. Finally, I carefully defogged the hologram using a heat gun - something I really enjoy doing. Although this restoration showcases the Chicago colorway, you can apply some of these techniques to other Jordan 13s like the bred 13s.
