Novwang Cyanotype PreSoaked Paper 5.8" x 8.3" Light Blue Cyanotype Sunprints

There are a variety of presoaked cyanotype paper options for you to try, for an easy, mess-free activity for all ages. The Novwang cyanotypes come in 5.8" x 8.3" size with 40 sheets of pre-treated paper, ready for use.

It's important to note that these pages are photo-sensitive and you need to handle them as such the moment you open the package. They expose in only 10-15 minutes so be ready to use them the moment you take them out.

The little fake leaves enclosed are too grey. They don't cast a strong shadow. Use actual solid objects for a good result. Also, the light plastic they provide easily blows away and is too small. I recommend finding a larger piece of clear plastic or glass if you are working with ferns or leaves, to hold those down with rocks so that the rocks can be outside of the area of exposure.

This paper is LIGHT BLUE. The shadow image area is going to be LIGHT BLUE. If this is the effect you want, that is great! If you are looking for the sharp contrast of white-paper-against-blue-cyanotype, you'll want to look elsewhere.
