Join me today as I take on the ultimate 135km road trip on highway 1095 from Chiang Mai to Pai on my rented scooter, Southgate.
We visit Ta-Pai Memorial Bridge, a WW2 bridge built by the Japanese, as well as Pai Canyon - Pai's answer to Niagara Falls.
We also meet a one-eyed dog, a cannibal rooster and two brave Welsh girls also taking on the journey called Sharon & Ellie ;)
I try my hardest to avoid getting stopped by the police as I don't have a drivers licence, I only have about 20 hours biking experience, and I have never driven a car before, but that didn't stop me!
This journey is NOT for the feint hearted so please make sure you are a confident rider before taking it on. It's definitely worth it though as it was probably the best 5 hours of my life!!
