There’s a lot of misunderstanding surrounding choice in drum sizes. Some people will swear that it’s the depth, not the diameter, that generates a lower pitch. Others will swear that smaller drums are best for lower tunings. We’re here to address a particular blindspot as it relates to tuning range and drum size and we’re going to prove our point with a few demonstrations.
