Star Wars R2-D2 or Astromech Droid you can(not) 3D Print

Sorry folks, but Disney has requested that our 3D models be removed from distribution. We have had the files taken down from Thingiverse and we can no longer give them away. We're sorry that we can no longer share these with you, because it is well within their rights to request we stop, and we respect their wishes. We will not respond to private requests for the files, so don't ask. We will leave this video online and will be uploading the flight launch video shortly after making the necessary edits.

To celebrate Star Wars Day 2017, we are proud to release the downloadable object files and printing instructions for this highly detailed and articulated 3D Printable Star Wars Astromech Droid. This highly detailed replica robot is nearly 1/4 scale, and can be printed and painted to the color scheme of R2-D2 or numerous other Astromech Droids.
To print this model, you will need a 3D Printer capable of printing 120x120x120mm objects. The robot was subdivided into smaller parts for use will small printers, improved printability, and higher detail.
