On paper Uganda is a democracy, but in reality nepotism and corruption are the rule. Journalism is one of the lowest paying jobs, and journalists, newspapers and TV stations are easily intimidated.

Freelance video journalist Ntege Williams is truly a remarkable individual. Despite facing significant challenges, including having his camera broken by the police on three separate occasions, multiple arrests, and even receiving death threats, he remains undeterred in his mission. Colleague Fidan Ekiz travels to Kampala to deliver a new camera to Ntege, enabling him to document a scandal unfolding in an Ugandan kingdom, where impoverished communities are being forcibly displaced to make way for tea plantations. In her quest to assist Ntege, Fidan finds herself drawn into this gripping journalistic investigation, uncovering the complexities and injustices of the situation.
