Wonder how some people manage to make their instruments sound really good on video? This video may be what your looking for!
I'll be going over the things I use to help make my violin sound better on Youtube. These are the things I use almost every video:
1.) Reverb
2.) Compression
3.) Equalization
Occasionally I'll use noise remover, but it tends to remove things I don't want removed. So I don't really use it all that much anymore.
As with anything, better equipment can make you sound much better. But it doesn't replace skill. Good rule of thumb: If it sounds terrible without effects, it won't sound much better with effects.
