The FARM for All is a therapeutic farm located at Lincoln Middle School. The program exists to foster learning for students with special needs through animal assisted activities. The program allows students to experience the first hand joy of basic farming while providing direct application for academic as well as physical/occupational goals. The FARM gives students physical contact with other living beings; fosters routines that include activities like feeding, cleaning and caring for animals and plants; and promotes self-esteem, confidence, and peace. The FARM is the only program of its kind on a public school campus in the state of Texas.
