The southern-most region of Portugal, The Algarve has forever been one of the most popular tourist hotspots in Europe. With its plethora of stunning cliff-side beaches, quaint towns, peaceful nature walks, and some excellent bakeries, there's plenty to keep you entertained, no matter your interest.

We created an Algarve travel video a few years ago and received great feedback, plus some recommendations for places we hadn’t thought of. We’ve returned to the south of Portugal to experience everything we missed the first time, plus all of our favourites.

In this travel guide, we’ll share the best places to visit in the Algarve. The destinations in our video have something for everyone, from amazing beaches and coastal scenery to quaint Portuguese towns, nature parks and lively tourist centres. They span the full length of the coastline, from east to west, so plan carefully. You can visit some of them on the same day!
