Mirage knows this silhouette too well.
Combat algorithms spike. Targeting subroutines ignite, screaming warnings at an enemy that should not—cannot—exist.
Standing motionless in the cold dark of the ice caverns is Mirage.
Another Mirage.
Like before.
On the island.
When Bloodfang came.
That version had been wrong too—corrupted, stripped of Bloodfang’s old intricacies, reduced to brutality. Whatever history once lived inside that red shell had been burned away, leaving only aggression and purpose.
This is the same.
The Blue Shell across the cavern waits.
A mirror carved in malice.
Systems flag the threat as unknown.
Every other subsystem disagrees.
Enemy confirmed.
