Lyrics:
Avalokiteśvara Bodhisattva, while practicing deep Prajñāpāramitā,
Clearly saw all five skandhas as empty, freeing all from suffering.
Śāriputra, form is not different from emptiness; emptiness is not different from form.
Form is emptiness; emptiness is form.
Feeling, perception, volition, and consciousness are also like this.
Śāriputra, all phenomena have the nature of emptiness:
No birth, no death; no impurity, no purity; no increase, no decrease.
So in emptiness: no form, no feeling, perception, volition, or consciousness.
No eye, ear, nose, tongue, body, or mind; no form, sound, smell, taste, touch, or dharmas.
No realm of sight, up to no realm of consciousness.
No ignorance, and no end of ignorance.
No aging and death, and no end to aging and death.
No suffering, origin, cessation, or path; no wisdom and no gain, because nothing is to gain.
Bodhisattvas rely on Prajñāpāramitā.
Their minds are free of obstacles, and so are fearless.
Far from delusions, they reach ultimate nirvāṇa.
All Buddhas of past, present, and future, rely on Prajñāpāramitā.
And attain perfect enlightenment.
Therefore, know that Prajñāpāramitā.
Is the great mantra, the mantra of great clarity,
The supreme mantra, the peerless mantra.
It removes all suffering—true and unfailing.
Thus the Prajñāpāramitā mantra is spoken.
Gate, gate, paragate, parasamgate.
Bodhi svāhā.

照見五蘊皆空。度一切苦厄。
舍利子。色不異空。空不異色。
色即是空。空即是色。
受想行識。亦復如是。

是大神咒。是大明咒。
是無上咒。是無等等咒。
能除一切苦。真實不虛。
故說般若波羅蜜多咒。即說咒曰。
