Winter Storm Warnings are in effect for the entire state. Snow will continue overnight, eventually mixing with and changing to sleet in many areas by daybreak.
Accumulating snow. Snow will turn to sleet (ice pellets) from south to north during the early morning hours, reaching the metro by daybreak. Lows will be in the teens to around 20.
Sleet pushes farther north and northwest Sunday morning. Sleet changes to freezing rain from southeast to northwest during the day, with periods of heavy freezing rain possible during the afternoon and evening. Significant ice accumulation with widespread power outages likely. Highs will be in the 20s to around 30. Coastal areas may reach the mid 30s and switch over to plain rain.
