Polishing A ROCK | A Labor of Love

Follow along as I transform a standard Rock Island 1911 GI Commander model from factory stock to custom fit, with improved safeties, controls, and ergonomics. I strip the factory Parkerizing and blue the frame and slide, and polish all of the controls for contrast. This is part one of a multi-part series, and part two is coming soon.
