7 Differences Between Selling Tampa And Selling Sunset

Selling Tampa is the new spinoff show to the hit Netflix show, Selling Sunset, but just how do the two shows set in the two very different locations compare? Right away, you can tell that Selling Tampa focuses on diverse women. Allure Realty, the focus business of the new show, is composed of an all-female, all-black cast. Not only is featuring minority women on screen rare, but to have them be successful, and on a hit reality show has never really been seen before. Meanwhile, Selling Sunset lacks this diversity component as its first season featured an all white cast. There’s also an age difference in the two shows with Selling Sunset skewing older so their personal problems are slightly different. There’s also a difference in how it started as Sharelle Rosado was the one to reach out to Adam DiVello via Instagram. In terms of location, the LA market can be seen as more expensive while Tampa has more of a laid-back appeal. Christine in Selling Sunset is the obvious villain but in Selling Tampa, there’s a lot of drama surrounding everyone. One of the main complaints viewers had about Selling Tampa in comparison to the original series is its lack of closing deals. In Selling Sunset, you’re more satisfied as a viewer when a listing is introduced and that it has an ending to how it’s sold but some don’t mind the dramatic storylines like calculating loyalties, divorces, and stealing clients that ensues.
