The Oak Ridge Boys' Richard Sterban is a member of the Country Music Hall of Fame, the Grand Ole Opry and the Gospel Music Hall of Fame. Before joining the Oaks, Richard sang with Elvis Presley during Elvis' most famous tours. Over the last year, Sterban has been away from the public eye as he battles pancreatic cancer. But TODAY, (Oct. 21, 2025), Sterban made a rare, surprise public appearance as he joined his other Oak Ridge Boys members as they celebrated the naming of The Oak Ridge Boys Bridge in their hometown of Hendersonville, Tennessee. During his remarks, Richard spoke in a strong voice and looked as cool as ever.
