Showcasing my lifelong preferred type of bass since I could afford them (late 80s).
Old-ish roundwounds (10-15 yrs, in a not too distant past cooked in vinegar to give them some sparkle again).
Bass recorded straight into Audiobox 22VSL into Microsoft Surface, using TotalRecorder.
No amp, effects, compression, limiter, enhancements or postprocessing whatsoever.
