Router Table Part 2 - Installing the Router

A few months ago I started building a router table. Actually, it grew into more than that - as well as being a home for my Triton JOF001 plunge router, it's also a stand for my Evolution Rage 3S sliding mitre saw, a shelf for router bits and accessories (and storage for my Aldi Workzone router), 3 drawers for some of the never-ending accumulation of screws, other fixings, electronics bits and bobs and, crucially, a vacuum extraction system built around a Titan wet and dry vacuum cleaner. This extract system will permanently connect to the Triton router and sliding mitre saw, and support removable connections for my handheld router, jigsaw and possibly a sander. So there's a lot of stuff packed into a smallish piece of furniture. And it's on castors.
Part 1, building the actual cabinet, is here: • Making an Upcycled Router Table - Part 1
This is Part 2, Part 3 will be coming in a week or so and will covering making the adjustable fence with featherboards, and the dust extract system. Can't wait to have it up and running!
