Presenting Tagarela

it’s an open-source vision for a physical AI companion that lives on your desk.

In this video, I explain the core concept behind Tagarela and why I believe in Hardware Freedom. Currently, the prototype is simple—just two servos and an ESP32-CAM—but the logic behind it is where the magic happens.

What Tagarela aims to be:

A Physical Interface: Using Python and MediaPipe to track you and interact with your environment.

An Accessibility Tool: Taking screen captures, sending them to AI, and describing your desktop via audio—perfect for helping visually impaired users.

Subscription-Free: You own the hardware, you choose the AI "brain" (ChatGPT, DeepSeek, or Local LLMs). No monthly fees.

The "Spaghetti Wire" Phase: I've reached the limits of the standard ESP32-CAM. I’m seeking support to upgrade to the ESP32-S3 (Xiao Sense), design custom PCBs, and implement precision motors.
