Precondition

balancing shaft (A),
Release clamping screws (1) and securing screws (2) of both balancing shafts
Install securing screws (2) and tighten until they are hand-tight.
Begin by adjusting balancing shaft (A), which is driven directly by the crankshaft:
Turn the eccentric of the directly driven balancing shaft clockwise until resistance is perceptible and a low grinding and whistling noise is audible.
Back off the eccentric by 1.5 index marks on the eccentric stub.
Tighten securing screw (2).

Adjust indirectly driven balancing shaft (B) last:
Turn the eccentric of the indirectly driven balancing shaft counter-clockwise until resistance is perceptible and a low grinding and whistling noise is audible.
Back off the eccentric by 1.5 index marks on the eccentric stub
Tighten securing screw
M8 x 30 20 Nm
M6 x 25 8 Nm
