AU: Nathan and Haley are best friends. Haley has feelings for Nathan, but she can't ever bring herself to tell him. Nathan starts talking about a girl he has fallen in love with. Haley is devastated and feels hurt everytime she sees him with Peyton, Brooke, and Rachel.

Haley is the girl Nathan is in love with. He starts thinking of what could be if they were together, but ends up getting hurt when Haley starts hanging out with his brother, Lucas Scott.

Nathan and Haley's friendship starts to unravel as their unspoken feelings start to build up and all they do is constantly fight. Nathan makes a difficult decision and tells Haley that they can't be friends anymore. Haley is heartbroken.

While Nathan is driving, he realizes he can't live without her, so he tries to call her. Haley ignores his phone call. Will Nathan ever tell Haley how he feels? Will she do the same?
