Bishop Ware spoke at an event hosted by The Merton Institute for Contemplative Living in Louisville, Kentucky, on October 16, 2001. In this talk, he shares that the heart is the spiritual center of the total human person. He compares and contrasts Orthodox beliefs with those of Thomas Merton.
