Most people learning bends think the bend is done with the fingers. In correct guitar string bending technique the fingers are only part of the mechanics of bending.

I am going to teach you the real and hidden mechanics of string bending on guitar. You will learn how to bend guitar string correctly using the hidden mechanics that are not obvious.

You will learn that

the bend is powered by the forearm.

The finger is held rigid to transfer the power of the forearm. Finger joints must not collapse.

The wrist must now be allowed to rise up and take the power away from the finger.
