Last year, Donna Rigby walked into the Emergency Department at Hackensack Meridian Jersey Shore University Medical Center for what looked like an allergic reaction. But an attentive ER physician took one extra step, ordering a CT scan, and that decision revealed the real cause: a stage 2 lung tumor.
What followed was a highly coordinated, high-tech treatment journey that included a robotic lung surgery. And today, Donna is not only back to work, but she recently celebrated "ringing the bell" at HOPE Tower, marking the end of her treatment.
