Our Dentist Visit in Bangkok Thailand (Teeth Cleaning and Fillings)

One of our priorities during our recent trip to Thailand was to go to a dentist and get a basic check up, cleaning, and x-rays.

As we walked by many dentist offices while in Bangkok, we decided to go to Dr. Prae Dental Clinic in the heart of Siam.

The first thing we'd like to point out, and this seems to be the case with most dentists (and healthcare in Thailand, which we also experienced there) in the transparent and up-front pricing.

Dr Prae is also very thorough, her assistants are awesome, and she has the latest equipment and technology. And everyone is super kind and pleasant.

We went over pricing in the video but will also include it below. It's importnat to note that our dental visit in Thailand was in November 2023 and the USD to Baht exchange rate averaged around 35.

Cleaning & Dental Check-up: 2,250 baht = $63.72
Fillings: 1,000 baht = $28.32

We both got cleanings and Jason had two cavities filled which all came out to 6,500 baht = $184.08 USD.

Dr Prae also does specialty and cosmetic dental work and she has a surgeon that comes in every Thursday.

Again, the pricing is transparent but also could change depening on when you see this video.

Overall, we had a great experience with Dr Prae and will go see her again when we're back in Thailand. We both have more extensive dental work to be done.

And we plan to have both our dental and healthcare done in Thailand from here on (will be posting our healthcare experience soon).
