In this video on Thursday 2nd of October 2025 we see SSR run “Evie” Inspection Train to Cranbourne in what could be the last Diesel run or diesel to visit Cranbourne if ECOM “Evette” takes over the reigns soon.
So as a bit of a tribute we put the last P18 Diesel hauled passenger to Leongatha (thanks to Wailing Chang) as the start and tried to match the exact same spot in the second pic. How times have changed and forever will.
Let us know some memories or moments along the line. Might just be HCMT (HiCaps) from here on out. Evette the only unusual visitor.
