স্থায়ী যুদ্ধবিরতি নয়, গাজায় ৪৫ দিনের সাময়িক যুদ্ধবিরতি চায় ইসরায়েল। হামাসকে দেয়া নতুন প্রস্তাবনায় এমনটা জানিয়েছে তেলআবিব। একইসাথে ১১ জিম্মির মুক্তির দাবি জানিয়েছে নেতানিয়াহু প্রশাসন। যা হামাসের কাছে থাকা জীবিত জিম্মিদের সংখ্যার অর্ধেক। প্রস্তাবনায়, গাজা থেকে সেনা প্রত্যাহার কিংবা ত্রাণ প্রবেশ ইস্যুতে সুনির্দিষ্ট কিছু বলা হয়নি। তবে স্পষ্ট জানিয়েছে উপত্যকায় হামাসসহ সব সশস্ত্র গোষ্ঠীর অস্ত্র সমর্পন চায় ইসরায়েল। এছাড়াও, স্বাধীনতাকামী নেতাদের গাজা থেকে সরিয়ে নেয়ার দাবিও জানিয়েছে। ইসরায়েলের দেয়া নতুন প্রস্তাব পর্যালোচনা করছে হামাস। তবে ইসরায়েলের অস্ত্র সমর্পনের দাবির প্রেক্ষিতে প্রস্তাবনাকে 'রেড লাইন' আখ্যা দিয়েছে গোষ্ঠীটি। সাফ জানিয়েছে, স্থায়ী যুদ্ধবিরতির নিশ্চয়তা ছাড়া কোনো আলোচনাতেই অংশ নেবে না তারা।
