In this video I show how I clamp my laminated sides into a mold with one temporary packing layer to make the mold deeper.
This (with plywood strips) isn't necessarily the best way to go about clamping, it's just the way I do it at the moment. Vacuum clamping is another method as it using larger cauls- I use larger cauls (like i do here at the waist) for some other shapes)
I also show an easier way to clamp the waist (using a fitted caul) and do a glue experiment with Titebond 1 (redcap) and 3.
